A conical lead alloy weight, with the broken remains of a hole at the apex, presumably for hanging. The weight is conical and measures 49.9mm in height, has a basal diameter of 38.52mm and weighs 236.6g. The base is slightly concave with a small depression at the centre. There are no marking or designs on the weight, but it is somewhat scarred from damage probably sustained after deposition. It has a mid grey patina with some light brown patches. Such weights are very difficult to date accurately and could be from Roman to Post Medieval periods, 43AD - 1700AD
