A complete copper alloy rivet of Post-Medieval date, c. 1500-1700. It has been made of sheet metal and is manufactured by hand through folding the metal into a tapering cone, also demonstrating a flattened crude sub-circular head. It measures 23.87 mm in length, the head is 12.13 mm in diameter, and the shank is 6.82 mm thick at its mid point. It weighs 3.83g. A discussion of these rivets can be found in Egan (2005, p.101).
