An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap fitting of swivel type from a Medieval date 1080 - 1450. Only one loop remains, the remainder is missing due to old breaks. The loop is D-shaped in form and tapers at both sides with zoomorphic terminals. These are in the form of animal heads with elongated snouts with a sharpe central ridge. A complete copper alloy swivel, probably from a harness dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1300).
