A copper alloy 'Lion of Saint Mark' early Nuremberg jetton dating to AD 1480-1490. Flemish lion rampant left with tail raised obverse with fictitious legend. Reverse depicts four fleurs de lis in a lozenge with a fictitious legend BIBIE BIBIE. This is probably a prototype jetton as those with 'Rampant lion' devices were struck fromth e fourteenth centuryonwards and occur in numerous varieties (Mitchiner p 352). Obverse depicts three crowns alternately with three lis around a central 6-petalled rose and with the legend HANS SCHVTES:[NOYP]. Reverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within an usual tressure as there is only a single arch over the cross and no additional decoration around the tressure. A Tealby 'cross and crosslet' silver cut halfpenny of Henry II dating to AD 1158-1180. The cut is heavily clipped and misshapen, and no lettering is decipherable. However, it appears to be Bust A dating to AD 1158-1161 (north 952). Obverse depicts a bust facing right (Bust A) with a sceptre in right hand. Reverse depicts a cross with crosslets in each quarter. An incomplete cast copper alloy spoon, probaby intended for cosmetic purposes and dating perhaps to the post medieval period. The item is 25.65mm in length, 8.01mm in width at its widest and weighs 1.02g. It consists of a D shape section shaft (10.15mm in length) with a spoon bowl at each end. Both are damaged, with worn and broken edges, but it would appear that one was larger than the other, with a present width of 8.01mm, while the other is 7.20mm in width.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy possibly early medieval mount, perhaps a strap end or decorative belt fitting. It appears to be a corner of triangular item (two sides meeting at a point with a drilled piercing for a rivet - now missing) and is decorated with ring and dot motif with three of these arching across one end of the item. It is 19.08mm in length, 10.50mmm in width, 0.85mm thick and weighs 0.71g. The angle of the pointed edge is about 60 degrees. The drilled hole has a diameter of c1.80mm. It has a bright green patina.

A lead-alloy penny-sized Boy Bishop token dating to c AD 1470-1539. SAnTVS nichoLAVS reverse depicting a mitre within a circle surrounded by the legend. AVE REX GENTIS reverse depicting a long cross with three pellets in each quadrant and surrounded by the legend. The token is bent (although it is not clear whether this is deliberate) and folded coins and tokens are often interpreted as prayers and offerings.

An incomplete copper alloy knife hilt plate, dating to the medieval period AD 1100- AD 1400. The hilt is oval in shape and is rather flat. Originally, there would of have been a central tang hole, where the blade would have fed through. But presently, the perforation is filled with the fragment of the blade, which is heavily corroded. The diameter is 14.81mm, the height is 5.18mm, and the weight is 1.83g. Two similar examples can be found in Read (2001) "Metal Artefacts of Antiquity" page 88 Nos 642 and 644. A lead alloy post-medieval token, probably dating to between 16th and 17th century AD. The token has been heavily crushed and folded on itself so that one of the faces is almost completely coverd by the other except for its upper edge, showing a series of letters, probably part of a legend. The only visible face has a central design surrounded by the inscription. Although it is not clear whether the token has been deliberately bent, folded coins and tokens are often interpreted as prayers and offerings.
