An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting, being part of an S-shaped fastener, D shape in section, in the form of a snake, probably dating to c AD 1550 - 1800. It would have been roughly in the shape of a letter S. What remains is one loop of the 'snake', with the simplistic form of the head given the appearance of biting the tail, so forming a loop. A lead medieval token of the Boy Bishop type, dating to the period AD 1480-15300. The obverse depicts a mitre surrounded by a crude legend. There is a shield on the reverse, divided into quarters and with a letter in each quadrant, surrounded by a crude legend. It probably imitated a penny of Henry VII c.f.
