A probable incomplete early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy strap end with a wedge shaped terminal end which is not split, but has two rivet holes, one through either corner with the remains of copper-alloy rivets within them. The shaft is incomplete and what remains is decorated with four transverse mouldings. Superficially this strap-end is of a similar form to the attachment end of a Thomas Class B type I, however, as the wedge shaped attachment end is not split it may have been created from the foot of a small long brooch (Thomas, 2003, pg4-5, fig2).

A complete copper-alloy Medieval strap end dating to circa AD 1150-1450. It is a composite strap end comprised of two plates with a sheet spacer in between. The terminal is in the form of a trefoil. The plates are joined together by a central, separately cast, copper alloy rivet at the attachment end. There are decorative elements consisting of rocker decoration. It is 48.16mm in length, 12.09mm in width and weighs 6.61g
The terminal is similar to Egan and Pritchard 1991: pg 144, no 671.

Complete copper-alloy Roman strap end. With a elongated oval body a terminal knop and horizontal attachment end with a central integral loop set at right angles to the plane of the strap end. The front face is decorated with annulets arranged in lines hoirzontally and vertically. Most similar in attachment device to a Tortworth strap end (Henry 2022, 84-85), but also reminiscent in shape to Amphora shaped strap ends. Both are later Roman in date.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy composite strap end, dating to c.AD 1300 - 1400. The crescentic forked spacer survives. The crescentic bars are complete and rectangular in section, tapering towards the terminals. At the centre of the crescent is a projecting acorn shaped knop with a rectangular collar.

A fragment of a copper-alloy early medieval (late Anglo-Saxon) strap end with inlaid niello and silver wire decoration. Only the lower zoomorphic terminal end survives. The outer face of the terminal has moulded, C-shaped 'ears' curving inwards to either side of its inner end and an inwards cuving, blunt snout, but few other visible features. A small sub-lozenge-shaped section of niello remains in the centre of the head with inlaid silver wire in an S-shape with additional curls to either side. A fragment from an early medieval (late Anglo-Saxon) strap end. The fragment comes from the upper end of the object where the strap would have been accommodated originally. It is trapzoidal in shape - slightly wider at its upper end and becoming narrower towards an abrupt, straight break across its lower end. A complete Early Medieval copper alloy strap end dating from AD 750 - 950. It is a Trewhiddle style strap end of Thomas sub-type A1ai. The strap end has a zoomorphic closed end in the form of an animal snout. There are crescentic eyes and large looped ears. The main body of the strap end has a billeted outer border, then inside that a plain border. The rectangular panel contains a Trewhiddle style beast. It is probably a single right facing animal with its head towards the split end. The reverse is undecorated.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy strap end dating to circa AD 1250-1350. A two piece strap end, it is discoidal in plan with straight edges. At one edge is is split attachment end. The two plates would have been joined together by two rivets in the centre and the outer edge. Only the rivet on the outer edge is now intact. Projecting from the opposite edge is a triangular knop.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy strap end dating to circa AD 1300-1450. It is a composite strap end with a forked spacer. The object has a U-shaped frame, with a lozengiform, collared acorn teminal - plano-convex in section - projecting from the outet edge. From the other end are the incomplete remains of two opposing rectangular-sectioned arms which formed the forked spacer.
Several similar composite strap-ends with circular spacers can be seen in Egan' and Pritchard 1991, 140-1 dated to the late 13th to early 15th centuries, being most common in the 14th century.

One face contains zig-zag 'rocker' work decoration on the form of two saltires. At the attachment end is a median separately cast copper alloy rivet which would have joined the plate to a second plate creating a composite strap end.
