Copper alloy Roman sestertius possibly of Commodus (AD 175 - 192), Reece period 9, reverse probably depicts Providentia standing left with sceptre in left hand, both the obverse and reverse of the coin are heavily corroded and deeply pitted making further identification difficult. The reverse compares with that of PUBLIC-32DC7A which is suggested as a variant of RIC vol.III, p.404, no.312. Cf. BMC IV, p.760, pl.101, fig.2, no.373.
