Complete copper alloy Roman coin of Marcus Aurelius (AD161-180) depicting the deified Antoninus Pius (AD138-161). Heavily worn and green in colour, the coin's edges are abraded and the legend is missing in places, probably due to an off center striking. Obverse is a bust of the emperor facing right with the legend ANTONINUS. Reverse of the coin is extremely worn and depicts a number of squares one upon another possibly depicting a large altar.
