A copper-alloy Roman nummus of Galerius (AD 293-311), dating to the period c. AD 308-310 (Reece period 15). GENIO IMPERATORIS reverse type depicting Genius standing left, chlamys over left shoulder, holding cornucopia in left hand and patera in outstretched right hand. RIC VI, p. 678, no. 101a. This is an unusual find for Britain; its patina and findspot might indicate this is not an ancient loss.
