Copying P HVPSAEVS AED CVR CAPTV C HVPSAE COS PREIVER reverse type depicting Jupiter in quadriga, left, holding reins in left hand and hurling thunderbolt with right hand. Border of dots. Mint of Rome prototype. Copying RRC 422/1.
Only circa 3/4ths of the coin now survives and a large portion around the break is covered with significant iron staining exposing an iron core. The coin is unusually small and thick to be a genuine Republican…
