A Post Medieval copper alloy strap slide with integral lugs which originally met to form a square loop. The slide is 25.4mm in length and flat in profile, with two lozengiform lobes meeting at a circular central plate. The plate has moulded and gilded decoration of uncertain form, possibly floral, with three small bosses, one in the centre of each lobe and one in the centre of the mid part of the mount. Circa 17th century.
