A fragment of a copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) strap end of Thomas Class E, Type 1 dating to the period c. AD 1000 - 1100. It would have comprised of an open-work design, but all that remains is the attachment end. The attachment plate retains three entrally positioned rivet holes. The openwork tongue terminates in an old break and has two semi-circular holes. A more complete example can be found on PAS see SOM-F33A5F. Cf. Thomas, G, 2004, p. 3, no. 24. An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. It is a composite strap-end with a sheet spacer occupying the whole width, broadly rectangular in shape tapering in to terminate with a fleur de lis knop. One part of the plate is missing, the other is broken at the knop. The remaining plate has a hole for a now missing rivet a tthe terminal. A probable incomplete early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy strap end with a wedge shaped terminal end which is not split, but has two rivet holes, one through either corner with the remains of copper-alloy rivets within them. The shaft is incomplete and what remains is decorated with four transverse mouldings. A complete copper-alloy Medieval strap end dating to circa AD 1150-1450. It is a composite strap end comprised of two plates with a sheet spacer in between. The terminal is in the form of a trefoil. The plates are joined together by a central, separately cast, copper alloy rivet at the attachment end. There are decorative elements consisting of rocker decoration. It is 48.16mm in length, 12.09mm in width and weighs 6.61g The terminal is similar to Egan and Pritchard 1991: pg 144, no 671.

Complete copper-alloy Roman strap end. With a elongated oval body a terminal knop and horizontal attachment end with a central integral loop set at right angles to the plane of the strap end. The front face is decorated with annulets arranged in lines hoirzontally and vertically. Most similar in attachment device to a Tortworth strap end (Henry 2022, 84-85), but also reminiscent in shape to Amphora shaped strap ends. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy composite strap end, dating to c.AD 1300 - 1400. The crescentic forked spacer survives. The crescentic bars are complete and rectangular in section, tapering towards the terminals. A fragment of a copper-alloy early medieval (late Anglo-Saxon) strap end with inlaid niello and silver wire decoration. Only the lower zoomorphic terminal end survives. The outer face of the terminal has moulded, C-shaped 'ears' curving inwards to either side of its inner end and an inwards cuving, blunt snout, but few other visible features. A small sub-lozenge-shaped section of niello remains in the centre of the head with inlaid silver wire in an S-shape with additional curls to either side. An incomplete probable Medieval copper-alloy strap end dating to circa AD 1350-1500. Cast in one piece it consists of a rectangular sectioned plate which is broadly ovate in plan.  The tip of the plate has broken away.
