A complete early medieval silver hooked tag. It has a circular plate with two small circular perforations set next to each other near to the upper edge. Its outer face is decorated with two concentric circles joined by eight transverse lines created by small engraved marks. The resulting motif is cruciform in aspect. The hook projects from the centre of the lower edge and curves backward abruptly to terminate in a sharp point. It survives in good condition.

The body consists of a rectangular plate to the rear, with seven knobs extending from its outer edges at equal intervals and a moulded trefoil knop from the centre of the lower edge. Description: An incomplete gilded silver hooked tag of composite construction. It consists of a circular cast plate with an integral rectangular loop. The front face of the plate is decorated with grooves around its edge and within a six-petalled flower made from silver wire with a circular knop in its centre. The back face has a rectangular scar where a separate hook would have originally been soldered on. Discussion: This dress hook is of Read early post-medieval Class K (Read 2008, p.125). A similar item was found in Essex (2010 T37, ESS-0ED744).

A silver hooked tag. The plate is oval in shape with two circular holes set next to each other near to the upper edge. The plate's edge is and damaged on one side. The hook projects from the centre of the lower edge and curves backward abruptly to terminate in a point. Both faces of this hooked tag are undecorated. The hooked tag dates to the 9th to 11th century. This small hooked tag is similar in form to other previous examples, such as an example from Barton Bendish, Norfolk (2003 T233) (Treasure Annual Report 2003), although this and other parallels are decorated.

Description: Silver gilt 16th century dress-hook, complete apart from most of the integral loop. Fragments of the sides of this loop survive and project vertically from the top edge of the plate, the loop appears to have been rectangular in shape originally.
