A lead palm guard of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 -1800. The object is a pointed teardrop/oval shape, flat on one side and domed on the other, with a rounded ends. A small sized cast lead palm guard of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 -1800. The palm guard is sub ovate with a slight D-shaped cross section and worn edges. A single shallow circular recess ( 6.5mm diameter ) is present to one surface. The metal is a very pale grey, almost white colour.  Palm guards of this design are thought to have been cast in oyster shells as evidenced in Portable Antiquities Scheme record number IOW-A9A877 in which the shell remains. A complete cast lead capstan or 'bobbin' shot dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1800). The object is broadly hour-glass shaped, with a flattened top and bottom and a waisted cylindrical middle section. The object is a curved C-shape with the tail of the object tapering to a narrow terminal. An incomplete medieval lead ampulla dating to AD 1300 - 1500. It is flask-shaped with a rounded bowl beneath a neck which has been broken in old damage. The base of the neck is decorated with two transverse ridges which run in line with the stubs of what were two suspension loops, one on either side, and the bowl is decorated on one face with scallop shell reeding. Any decoration on the other face has been lost through old damage. Width: 26.9mm at the neck and 31.0mm max at the bowl; length: 47.5mm. Weight: 29.9g

A complete probably Medieval to Post-Medieval lead weight decorated on the obverse with initials set in sunk relief (AD c.1200-1700). The weight is heptagonal with minor irregularities. The sides are irregular with four being straight and three sloping slightly inwards from the reverse side. An unfinished cast Medieval lead flat pointed-oval seal matrix (AD 1200-1350). This seal matrix has not been engraved and is blank and flat at the front. The reverse has a stylised symbol and raised border. The matrix has slanted sides leaving the front narrower than the back.. The suspension lug is placed at the top of the back and its form suggests it was used as a sprue or in gate, it has no pierciing.The seal has a light grey patination typical of aged lead. A conical lead alloy weight, with the broken remains of a hole at the apex, presumably for hanging. The weight is conical and measures 49.9mm in height, has a basal diameter of 38.52mm and weighs 236.6g. The base is slightly concave with a small depression at the centre. There are no marking or designs on the weight, but it is somewhat scarred from damage probably sustained after deposition. It has a mid grey patina with some light brown patches. Such weights are very difficult to date accurately and could be from Roman to Post Medieval periods, 43AD - 1700AD
