A lead Boy Bishop token, groat size, probably of Rigold's (1978: p. 96) Series VI, c.1470-1539 AD.
Reverse: Legends formed from pairs of vertical strokes, Long cross dividing inner and outer legend, three pellets in each angle of the cross, all within an inner circle.

A Post-Medieval lead token. It is an oval shape, with moulding on the upper surface. The cruciform pattern shows the token divided into eight triangles but the surface is too worn to see any detail. The reverse is plain. The token measures17.22mm x 15.39mm and is 1.85mm in thickness, It weighs 3.25g.
