An incomplete Post Medieval bone knife handle dating to circa AD 1600-1800. The handle is rectangular in plan and section with straight edges. The butt end has been rounded. Its surface has been polished. The handle has come away at the attachment end revealing the natural oval shaped cavity in the centre of the been which would have been utilised to house the blade. A worked cylindrical-sectioned transverse groove runs across the flanks surrounding the natural cavity. The fragment is curved in shape with one complete curved edge and a similarly curved design incised on its outer face, suggesting that it was fully circular in shape originally. It has a small circular bowl with concave centre and flattened outer edges, one side of which appears to have suffered from damage and possible burning(?) either pre- or post-deposition. A perforated oyster shell of unknown date. The shell is oval, coming toward a point at one terminal, where the hinge of the oyster shell would have been. An oval hole 7.39mm x 5.83mm has been drilled near this terminal. The shell is smooth and white, measuring 47.6mm in length, 39.53mm in width, and weighing 7.43g. It may have been used as a pendant.

A worked antler of possible Bronze Age date. The tip of one antler tine survives, terminating in old breaks at one end and missing the very end of the tine due to old breaks. Towards the tip of the antler the surfaces have been worn smooth appearing almost polished in places, and demonstrating extensive tool marks and signs of use wear. A complete bone amulet, of probable Roman date in the form of a winged phallus. The pair of triangular shaped wings project from either side of the base of the phallus, their front faces decorated with horizontal zig-zag grooves at towards the front and vertical grooves towards the rear representing feathers. The phallus is straight, cylindrical in form, its head moulded and separated by deeply incised grooves that give it form. One face is faceted and the other flat. A fragment of an antler, incomplete due to old breaks at both ends. It measures 72mm in length and 28mm in width with a thickness of 14mm. This antler fragment does not appear to have been worked and is likely to just be a stray loss, however, it could be a by product of antler working, or have been lost before it was worked. Therefore it is recorded in case any other antler fragments worked or otherwise are found on this site in the future.
