Copper alloy lozenge shaped plate brooch from the Roman period. The main body of the brooch is complete but the pin is missing. The brooch is lozenge shaped with a lug at each corner. The front face has a hollow central lozenge shaped boss which would have been filled with enamel as decoration. The boss is surrounded by a raised edge. Copper alloy cast reversed fantail type of Roman bow brooch. The bow of the brooch is complete and the catchplate is still present. The pin was on a spring mechanism held by a rearward hook over the chord. The hook is still present but the pin and the spring are missing. The back of the bow is flat and the front decoration is moulded. The top half of the bow is made up of two domes. The bow then widens to the lower bow which is almost lozenge shaped. Copper alloy spring from a Roman bow brooch. Only two coils remain with part of the wire being straight, perhaps where it attached to the brooch. This was found in the same field as an incomplete Roman brooch so it is possible that it is from this brooch. The brooch is recorded on the database as LVPL-9A3D92.

Copper alloy Colchester derivative, rearhook brooch dating to the Roman period. The object has long sub-tubular wings and would have been a sprung example. The head of the object has a rearward-facing hook which has been damaged. The bow expands outwards from the head and tapers towards the foot which has broken away. Cast copper alloy headstud bow brooch dating from the late 1st century through to the 2nd century AD. The brooch is a hinged type, the pin and most of the catchplate are missing. The headloop has broken off at the base of the loop, with part of one side remaining. The wings are square ended and have vertical line decoration. The headstud was cast integrally to the bow. A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type, West Midlands) brooch cf. Mackreth 2011, 4.j. Plate 48 dating to AD 80-120. Sprung type with a rearward facing hook. The pin is missing although the spring remains in the springcase due to corrosion. The springcase has capped ends. The ends of the wings have disc-shaped mouldings. The bow is decorated with horizontal grooves in the middle part. The foot consists of 2 circular mouldings.

Cast copper alloy sprung Polden Hill bow brooch with folded wing ends of the Eastern Group, dating from 1st century. The pin has broken off just after the spring. The short catchplate is complete. The 10 coil spring is held in place by a rearward facing hook. A pair of flanges is cast at the ends of the wings and closed round the axis bar. The wings are decorated at the ends with grooves which go all around them. The bow is decorated with a central raised line running the whole length. On either side is a groove. The bow narrows towards the foot which is plain.

Cast copper alloy Roman tumbler lock slide key. The key is complete. It has a circular loop at one end with a small projection at its end. The first part of the shank is rectangular in plan and in cross section. The shank then changes to having a circular cross section. The bit of the key is an L-shape set perpendicular to the shaft. The end of the bit has a semi-circular piece out of it.

Cast copper alloy bow brooch, sawfish type, dating to c.75-175AD. The brooch is hinged, the pin is missing as is most of the catchplate. The wings are long and are decorated on the front by diagonal lines. The hook on the top of the bow has broken off. The bow is decorated with pairs of recessed triangles leaving raised lozenge shapes all the way down. The triangles would have been filled with enamel but this is now missing. The foot consists of a circular disc set on the end of the bow facing forwards. It has a central vertical groove.
