Copper alloy spherical crotal bell. It comprises of two hemispherical domes with a raised median ridge joining them. There is an uneven square attachment loop at the top. WG is inscribed on the base and the pea is still inside.

Copper alloy folded sheet bell from the Late Medieval period. Circular supsension loop at the top. The pea is still inside. The sheet sides are bent around to form a long conical body. The end is cut into four points which are bent inwards to retain the pea. This type of bell would have been worn on a sash or a belt. Similar examples on the database include SF9174 and SF-C4DD76.

Cast copper alloy 16/17th century crotal bell which has been silvered. It is complete with the typical sunburst design on both the upper and lower halves. On the upper half there are two circular perforations, sound holes, on opposing sides. On the lower half there are two sound holes connected by a linear hole. The attachment loop is rectangular with a rounded end and a circular hole.
