A silver-gilt dress fitting or mount.
The mount is formed from a circular plate, with a concave reverse. Only two-thirds of the object survives, as much has broken off. The broken edge has also been folded around on itself. In the centre of the object there is a bust of a Tudor man in high relief. The figure wears a cap. The bust is inside a ropework circle border. Around this there is a decorative border filled with shaped cells, each cell is formed from ropework wire. The cells are empty. Around this, the edge of the mount has a ropework border.

A cast lead alloy forgery of an Austrian Maria Theresa thaler. Around the edge of the coin it is possible to see a seam where the 2 halves of the mould used to cast it joined, and the remains of the casting sprue are also visible on the edge above the bust/eagle's crown.
Maria Theresa was Empress from 1740 to her death in 1780, jointly with her husband Franz I from 1745 to 1765, and then with her son Joseph II from 1765 to 1780. The original coin of which this forgery is a copy was probably minted in Burgau, an Austrian possession near Ulm in Bavaria. [germany]

TREASURE CASE : 2012 T785.
A complete cast silver lace tag of post-medieval date. The lace tag is formed from a single piece of silver which is a single-pointed ovate in shape with a large perforation, or eye, through the wider end. Each of the four edges are chamfered and the lace tag tapers to a rounded point. The object is undecorated.
Similar lace tags have been reported as Treasure for example 2012 T475 (HAMP-84B221) and 2005 T324 (HAMP-57FE56). The British Museum acquired a similar item 2008 T276 (BM 2010.8021.1; PAS ID: WILT-F492B5).

A complete copper-alloy post-Medieval spherical bell dating to AD 1750-1850, often known as a "crotal" or "rumbler" bell. The sub-rectangular suspension loop at the top is about approximately 9.9 mm in length, 14.5 mm in width, 4.1 mm thick and has a semi-circular (arched) aperture.

Gold Ecu d'or au soleil de Bretagne of Francis I of France (1515-1547). Kelleher (forthcoming) notes that there have only been five Francis I gold coins recorded as finds in England to date, all from hoards (one from Bearpark, County Durham, four from Ely, Cambridgeshire). This coin represents the first recorded "stray" find of a Francis I gold coin in England.

A Post Medieval copper-alloy button dating to circa AD 1550-1700. The button has a spherical head and a flattened rectangular shank. The head is convex. the button shank has a circular perforation located in the lower half. The surface is slightly abraded and has a mid green coloured patina.
A similar button was recorded from Warwickshire (WAW-7F3A55) and is suggested as dating to the mid 16th to 17th centuries.
The button measures 16.2 mm in length, 10.2 mm in width at the head, 1.5 mm in thickness at the shank and weighs 2.9 grams.

A broken finger ring of probable post-medieval date. Although broken, the external hoop of the ring is made up of four knops, and based upon their size it seems likely that there would originally have been ten knops. This makes it extremely likely that this ring was in fact a decade ring, used as a discreet way of assisting in the saying of the ten prayers that make up the Rosary in the Catholic Christian tradition. An incomplete copper alloy Post-Medieval openwork dress fastener (c. 1500 - 1600). Read's Class E, Type 3 , Cf. Read 2008, p.105 no.410. It consists of a stylised heart, a projecting ridged and ribbed collar at the juncture of the plate and hook. The rectangular loop at the top of the dress fastener is missing. The dress fastener measures 21.36mm in length, 12.30mm maximum width, 2.64mm minimum width, is 1.56mm thick and weighs 1.07g.

A complete post medieval cast copper alloy one piece hooked clasp dating to c AD 1500 - 1600. It is circular, has moulded relief and open work in the form of seven elliptical links with knops in the outer junctions to separate, enclosing a central circular feature with a hole in the cente of that from which lines radiate outwards. There is a rectangular attachment loop and sharp rear facing hook.
See Read 2008 Hooked Clasps and Eyes p101 no 387 for an almost identical clasp.
The item is 32.52mm in length, 17.73mm in width and weighs 3.21g.
