An incomplete copper-alloy zoomorphic vessel mount of Late Iron Age to Roman date. Only part of the decorative plate survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The plate at the base of the object is formed from sheet copper-alloy and has been clipped to be circular in form with no true edges surviving. A sherd of a late Iron Age to early Roman earthenware vessel. The sherd comes from the rim of the vessel, which is straight with a groove running below is across the outer face. The fabric is hard and coarse, tempered with poorly sorted rounded quartz (<3mm). The core is a buff colour and both surface dark grey with oxidised reddish patches on the outer face. Matthew Brudenell (pers. com.) suggests that the sherd is likely to be of very late Iron Age or early Roman date. Length: 46.94mm, width: 39.38mm, thickness: 10.50mm, weight: 24.96g

A large rim sherd from a Belgic carinated bowl or jar of late Iron Age date. It is wheelmade with and orange/pink fabric that has grog temper and is well fired. The rim is slightly everted and the front face has decoration comprising transverse ribs, one positioned beneath the rim and one at the base of the sherd. The entire sherd measures 64.80mm in length, 72.51mm in width, 8.13mm in thickness and 53.19g in weight. It is of Late Iron Age date, c.1-50 AD.

A large and slightly abraded body sherd originating from a large wheel-thrown cooking vessel of probable Late Iron Age to Roman date, c. 100 BC-100 AD.
