An incomplete copper-alloy Roman bow brooch, possibly of Colchester or derivative type. Only half of the spring coil and the pin survive, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The remains of five coils survive, extending at one end to an integral pin that is cylindrical in form and tapers to a point. The entire fragment measures 16.13mm in width, 26.54mm in length, 2.15mm in thickness/diameter at pin (7.93mm at spring), and 3.86g in weight.

An incomplete and worn copper-alloy Roman Rosette bow brooch. Only part of the foot survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
It is flat and sub-rectangular in form. At the top of the foot is a U-shaped notch before tapering to a rounded terminal. The front face is decorated with longitudinal reeding. On the back face is the remains of an integrally cast catch plate.
This brooch measures 26.18mm in length, 12.80mm in width, 1.98mm in thickness, 1.76g in weight.
There are similar examples from Hacheston (Blagg et al, 2004, p. 92, no. 52, 53).
