Bronze unit, some wear and some recent damage on the edge. Identifiable as VA 154-3 "Kentish uncertain", Hobbs 2484-2486 "uninscribed south-eastern bronze". Around 35 are listed on CCI database (http://www.writer2001.com/cciwriter2001/BritishLists/Cantii/Cantii_59.htm), the majority of located ones being from Kent and two from Essex (Tilbury, Maldon) - thus this eg is the farthest north found as yet.

British Iron Age Kentish copper-alloy unit, attributed to SEGO, c. 10 BC-AD 20. The coin is slightly dished in form with one side suffering from some post-depositional damage. Type ABC (Cottam et al 2010) 453 = VA (Van Arsdell 1989) 1855 = BMC (Hobbs 1996) 1690. This coin is registered as CCI 11.1070.

A very worn copper-alloy coin of possible Iron Age date. It has a dished profile and a sightly oval shaped flan, but both faces are illegible due to post-depositional wear and corrosion. This is possibly a later Iron Age unit of uncertain type, although a later date cannot be ruled out entirely.
