Cast copper-alloy Roman covered loop terret. Large hoop, which is very worn on the upper edge, and tapers to a smaller hoop (creating a figure of 8 shape) which is covered by a large circular 'skirt', when viewed from above. The area below the hoop and at the junction of the hoop and 'skirt' is decorated with a series of transverse diagonal grooves.

Cast copper alloy. In two fragments which fit together perfectly, due to post-depositional break across width of front plate. Appears similar to front plate of a Roman Bow Brooch, but no obvious areas for catch-plate or spring/pin. Wide at the top, becoming narrower towards the bottom, which is straight. Large curve at the top, then curving back on itself slightly towards the bottom. On the reverse side of the wider end is an unidentifiable figure/character (possibly an open mouthed snake-head or a hand) which is pointing down toward the narrower end.

Cast copper alloy dress fastener dating to the post medieval period. The central area of the dress fastener is hexagonal in shape, with open work geometric design inside. There is a copper alloy loop which is not integral to the hexagonal front plate, this loop goes around the back of the plate, and carries on as a pin which comes out the other end of the hexagon. There is silver gilt still visable on some of the dress fastener.

Jetton of Hans Zwingel. It is 'Rechenmeister' (germ. 'Master of Reckoning/Calculations') jetton and dates to 1553-86. The obverse shows the Rechenmeister sitting at a table and he jettons to one side and a counting grid to the other side. On the reverse is a rectangular frame with the letters of the original Alphabet (J and U are missing). Sometimes, another 'Z' was added which is interpreted as the 'signature' of H. Zwingel.

Cast copper alloy object dated from the Medieval to Post-Medieval era. It is an ecclesiastical mount intended to decorate a staff or similar. It has a circular attachment collar (15mm diameter) with 4 drilled holes set at equal distances. There is a circumventing double line decoration above and below the drilled holes on the collar. Cast copper-alloy buckle with kidney-shaped frame and integral triangular plate. There is a slight projection on either side at the junction of the frame and plate; in the centre here is a pin hole blocked with corrosion from the largely missing iron pin. The triangular buckle has a rivet hole in each of the three corners. Near the frame, the two corners are slightly expanded to accommodate the rivet holes, and here one copper-alloy rivet is still in place. From here two slightly narrower arms extend to either side of a heart-shaped central perforation. They meet at a rounded term…

Head fragment of Roman Colchester derivative, Dolphin-type brooch. The bow is decorated with a fairly high ridge, but there was probably no enamel or glass decoration attached to it. The pin and foot are missing, but the spiral (also made from cast cu-alloy) is still in place, as well as the cast cu-alloy cover. The spring cover is plain.
