Iron Age gold stater, Iceni, Van Ardsell no.s 620-1. The obverse shows two opposed crescents, with three pellets above & below, and two to each side, with a ring & dot at each corner. The reverse shows a horse facing right, with loop as muzzle, a flower of seven pellets between legs and above back, three pellets in front of front knee, a ring and dot above tail, and vertical lines in the exergue. Diameter c.16.4mm, thickness c.2.8mm, weight 5.29g.
