The interlace is abstract, with no animal elements identifiable, but there is evidence of gilding. The reverse is undecorated and has corrosion. The catchplate and pin are missing. A fragment of a copper-alloy late early medieval, or Viking Age, cheekpiece, cheekpieces were worn in pairs and each is pierced with a round hole through which the ends of the jointed iron bit projected.  Only a fragment of the flat plate and of the central hole survives as well as the knob which originally was at the base of a loop, the latter is now missing. A probable incomplete early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy strap end with a wedge shaped terminal end which is not split, but has two rivet holes, one through either corner with the remains of copper-alloy rivets within them. A fragment copper-alloy equal-armed brooch of Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date. Only the terminal end survives. The terminal is flat, triangular in form and missing parts of its outer edges due to old breaks. An incomplete Anglo-Scandinavian cast copper-alloy bridle bit link of early medieval date. It has a rectangular shaft that is D-shaped in section with flat back and rounded front face which has a rounded boss before the incomplete end.
