Central section of winged copper-alloy axe with single loop. Patinated breaks. Only one of four wings complete and this is bent double and cracked. Major break to body but no obvious hammer marks or casting flaws. Deep brown/green patina with patches of pale green invasive corrosion. Surviving length 87 mm.

An incomplete late Bronze Age copper-alloy end-winged axe. Sub-rectangular in plan with butt, side loop folded wings and crescentic cutting edge. The butt end and most of the wings are missing. The damaged butt end is 25.34mm wide and 20.14mm thick. Casting seams are faintly visible along the centre of each side. The small surviving sections of the wings suggest that both are C-shaped in cross-section with their ends turned inwards. A complete cast copper-alloy probable Bronze Age votive model/miniature object. Circular in shape measuring 22mm in external diameter and 17mm in internal diameter. This object has internal open work decoration consisting of a central open work lozenge shape formed of two pairs of opposing curving rectangular cross-sectioned copper-alloy bars. The outer circular hoop is decorated on both faces where these bars meet it with small horse-shoe shaped indentations, now worn. Along the outer edge of the hoop there is a central circumferential row of more small horse-shoe shaped indentations.…

Fragment of heavy corrugated cast staple handle(?) attachment, probably from bucket or cauldron, found within a hoard. Decorated externally with five heavy ribs/corrugations, plain internally. At the base of these ribs is the remains of a transverse internal socket. The top, broken end of the ribs, is very thin in places. All breaks are ancient. Medium brown/green patina with paler green corrosive encrustations. Appears to be a high lead casting. cf cast staples from cauldron in Llyn Fawr hoard & from bucket(?) in Hatfield Broad Oak hoard (Davies 1929 - BAR67, Fig 8.1)
