An incomplete decorative copper-alloy sword/dagger hilt of probably Post Medieval date (possibly 17th-19th Century). The section comprises a decorative guard which include the remnant of finger loops and quillions, all of which have damage to them and are incomplete. The central block is rectangular with a moulded socket below - which would have fitted onto a pommel. The obverse and reverse of the central block are decorated with a man (possibly a warrior) holding a spear in his right hand and what appears to be a shield in his left. Object is an incomplete, small, copper alloy flat axehead, probably dating from the Early Bronze Age period (c. BC 2350 - c. BC 2050). The axe is broadly rectangular in plan with a slightly splayed crescentric blade. The sides of the axe gently taper outwards with a shallow curve, from the rounded butt to the blade. The surfaces are flat and do not show any signs of side flanges. The obverse features the bust of George VI (1936-1952) facing left, legend around. reading GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX F :D :IND : IMP., The reverse features a sailing ship facing left, denomination above, HALF PENNY, and date in exergue 1942. Core rejuvenation blade, most likely to be of Neolithic date (c. 4000-2500BC). Made of flint. Length = 79.0mm; width = 28.0mm; thickness – 15.0mm; weight = 25.3g. The blade is struck from a blade core with the intention to refresh the striking platform of the core to enable further blades to be removed from it. Blades from such a core could have been retouched and made into scrapers, knives, or other tools.

Description and identification Two halves of a decorated silver annular brooch frame. It is misshapen, with each part forming an elongated ‘U’ shape, which was once likely circular. The level of distortion obscures the form of the decoration on each ‘face’. There is a perforation at the top of the object, presumably used for hanging the weight. The object has a light grey/white patina and shows signs of use and wear. Its exact date is unknown. Object is a complete, copper alloy finger ring thought to date to the Post Medieval Period. It has a central circular bezel with a cross pattée decoration which is slightly off centre. The ring seems to be quite crude and has a thick band. It has a dark grey/black patina and has a pot-marked surface with some possible corrosion damage. It has no other identifying marks. The object weighs 6.2g, has a diameter of 22.1mm, the diameter of the bezel is 12.8mm, and the width of the band 6.1mm.

It has a square cross section, and one end of the tool has been bent and shaped to a point like a pick, the other end appears to be broken or be worn to the point of being unrecognisible.
