Complete silver threepence of Elizabeth I dating to 1580. Obverse features the crowned bust of Elizabeth I left with rose behind head to right, legend around reading 'ELIZABETH D G ANG FR ET HIB REGINA'. The reverse features the quartered shield of arms over long cross fourchée, divided date above '1580', legend around reading 'POSVI DEV AD IVTORE M MEV'. The coin weighs 1.2g and is 18.39mm in diameter.
