A biconical spindle whorl. It is foemd of two shallow cones joined with a relatively wide central band. It is decorated on both surface with a pattern of approximately three dots beween lines running perpendicular to the central hole. There is a modern scar across one face. A lead alloy disc that it possibly a hand made toy, or a weight. It is circular and in section has rounded edges. One face has a central depression which extends across half of the face. Around the raised outer are many parallel lines from the edge into the centre. Set to one side of the blank central portion are two shapes which suggest clock hands, they are thin, pointed triangles which overlap near the widest part. A small, copper alloy model of a quadruped with a long tail, possibly a lioness, leopard or similar. It is missing most of its very thin legs. The body is curled around, the head being inside this curl, facing semi-sideways, with a posisble short mane marked on the back. The waist is narrow and the haunches are well defined. Cast handle from a teaspoon or similar, with moulded ovulos aligned down the centre line of its display side in a linear series which is continued by two or more stamped dots; bowl lost and terminal chipped.  A Post Medieval lead two disc cloth seal made from two discs of lead held together with a lead strip, dating from AD 1700 - 1900. A central integral rivet from the back of one disc passes through a hole in the other disc and is stamped flat. The seal has the legend R&I in relief on the obverse with the number 829 stamped above it. The imprint of the cloth is visible on the other face. Measurements are; diameter 24.8mm, thickness 2.5mm and weight 7.83g. Compare SUR-51F7A9.

A copper alloy fragment of a Medieval vessel; a pot leg from a cooking vessel that dates from the medieval to post medieval period (about AD 1100-1750).  The object has a rectangular cross section and is sub-rectangular in plan. It has a slight central ridge on the outer-side and the back is flat. The leg is straight and there is no foot.  Measurements are; length 31.1mm, width 41.3mm, thickness 8.9mm and weight 46.14g.
