A lead vesica-shape (pointed oval) seal matrix, flat back other than raised midrib with intact suspension loop at top and a raised ridge running around the edge. Piece is slightly worn, but in generally good condition. Appears to have been of rather better quality than the usual lead matrix of the period, with the sharp reverse casting and elegant, turned-over suspension loop usually found in copper-alloy matrices. Device: (Described from impression.) Three joined stems of corn curving to the right, separating into three midway. A small bird perched on the uppermost frond, body facing…

Copper-alloy anonymous seal matrix, almost circular in shape. Flat reverse with suspension loop in the centre at the top. It is in fair condition, but the surface is flaking and in need of stabilizing. It is described from the impression.
