A complete copper-alloy socketed axehead of late Bronze Age date, c.1000 - 800 BC. South Wales (Stogursey) Type and of Ewart Park Metalworking Industry of Needham's (1997) Period 7. An incomplete copper alloy trapezoidal buckle frame of Post Medieval dating (AD 1660 to AD 1720). The buckle frame is trapezoidal in plan, with a drilled frame, for a separate spindle. The frame exhibits moulded decoration. Scrolled knops are present on either side of the spindle holes. The spindle, pin and chape are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. A complete copper alloy single loop sub-rectangular buckle frame, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1650). The buckle frame is present, the pin is missing. The buckle has concave sides with a rounded front and a single lobed knob in the centre of the outside edge. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. There is no other decoration on the buckle. An incomplete cast copper alloy jews harp (or jaws harp), of the Medieval to Post Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1400 to c. AD 1700. In plan, the jews harp consists of a sub circular head, and two tapering arms, both with the characteristic lozenge cross section. The arms are complete, and taper until they are almost touching. The rabbet is located at the apex of the head, still containing the remnants of the iron tongue. The harp is slightly bent to the reverse at the join between head and arms. A fragment of a copper-alloy hinged Roman strap fitting, dating to the period AD 200-300. What remains of the plate is openwork, with a triangular pattern, and measures 17.79mm in height and 38.41mm in width. The triangular perforation encapsulates a 'wheel', it is likely that there would have been one either side, mirroring what can be seen here, but the fitting is fragmentary. Roman cast lead-alloy sealing. In plan the object is sub-circular, with a small spur protruding from the edge. The length from the tip of the spur to the opposite edge is 15.5mm and the width is 13.5mm. It is made from cast lead alloy with the decoration possibly stamped. The obverse has a bust facing right. On the reverse there is an integral, circular sectioned stud whose terminal is hooked over. The surface has a mottled mid green patina.
