An incomplete copper alloy nummus coin of Constantine I dating to AD 319 (Reece Period 16). VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP reverse type. Mint of Trier, as RIC VII Treveri 214/21. The coin has been misstruck on the reverse and much of the edge is missing. The coin retains a slight trace of silvering. An incomplete cast copper alloy vessel mount, possibly a bucket escutcheon of (probably later) Iron Age to early Roman date (c. 150 BC-AD 100). The object is incomplete, missing part of the left attachment lobe and an uncertain length of the hooked rear projection. The integrally cast object has a broadly trilobed form in plan, with two symmetrical comma-shaped perforated attachment lobes at the base (the left lobe is incomplete) and a larger upper lobe forming a suspension loop (maximum internal diameter 8.mm). A toy watch made from a copper or tin alloy (pewter or spelter). It is circular with cast details including a pair of hands (set to about 13:52) and the numerals, which are retrograde. The back of the is decorated with concentric ridges. Originally the watch would probably have had a glass cover (see LANCUM-85C3B5 and WMID-CAF788). Circa 19th or early 20th century. The watch falls broadly into Forsyth and Egan's Type 12 (Forsyth and Egan, 2005, pages 380 to 383).

A fragment of a Medieval lead-alloy pilgrim's ampulla, 31mm in length and 30mm wide, comprising the lower part of the round bodied flask. One side of the flask body has moulded ridges as part of a generic scallop-shell motif; the other appears undecorated. The lack of other decoration prevents attribution to a shrine or cult site. A fragmentary Post Medieval ceramic sherd from a vessel base, probably a handled cup/mug (‘tyg’) or jar, of 17th century AD date. The fragment is black glazed red ‘Cistercian’ ware with a surviving height of 21.0mm and width of 33.7mm. A sharp fragment is adhered to the inside surface of the base indicating an explosion in the kiln or misfire likely damaged this vessel beyond repair. The fragment has a smooth black glaze with a reddish fabric and weighs 8.85g. A similar fragment can be seen Gloucester pottery fabric type series (potsherd.net)

A fragmentary cast copper alloy fragment, possibly of Late Medieval date (c.15th-16th century AD). The fragment is a piece of a rim from a large cauldron measuring 11.6mm long x 7.9mm wide x 27.4mm-25.4mm thick. The rim has a very slightly expanded lip on the inside surface before tapering slightly to the edge and the outer surface is flat with no traces of decoration surviving. Two rivets hold a sheet of copper alloy in place (surviving length 27.1mm, max surviving width 15.6mm) likely repairing a crack on the inside surface of the cauldron. The object is a belt chape consisting of half of the plate, waist and damaged ‘lyre-shaped’ openwork terminal (overall length 55.5mm, max width 39.3mm, thickness 5.7mm). The plate is sub-rectangular in plan and rectangular in section. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester Derivative Polden Hill (CD PH CD PH, 4.l.c Plate 49) type and 2nd century AD date. The brooch is missing much of the wings and spring, foot and catchplate with an overall surviving length of 53.5mm and max width of 24.1mm at the wings.
