A cast copper-alloy double-looped harness fitting, of post-medieval date (c.1500-1800). Description: The object comprises two joined loops set perpendicular to each other at 90-degree angles. Each of the loops is oval in shape, with each loop being roughly rectangular in cross-section with flat sides and rounded edges. The larger loop is approximately 50mm in length, 31.6mm in width, with a thickness of 5.6mm. The smaller loop is approximately 20.5mm in length, 24mm in width, with a thickness of 3.4mm. An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch of medieval date (c.1200-1400). Description: The brooch is annular, broadly hexagonal in plan and D-shaped in cross-section, flat on the back. The frame is formed with five knops at each corner. The constiction for the pin is set through one of the knops. The pin is short and pointed, possibly incomplete, and still moveable.
