A complete cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval s-shaped fastener dating to the 16th to 18th centuries. The fastener depicts a double-headed snake. One half of the body is bent outwards out of shape. At the centre of the oval-sectioned body is a wide plain collar. A near complete Post Medieval copper-alloy strap fitting dating c. AD 1600-1700. The fitting is sexfoil in shape with a slightly hollow reverse and two broken attachment lugs. The front is divided into six broadly triangular fields by grooved from the centre to the edges. The surface patina is mottled light green and brown in colour. The strap fitting measures 13.5mm diameter, 2.6mm in thickness, 6.2mm in height and weighs 1.6 grams.

An incomplete post medieval copper alloy strap fitting or hooked belt mount dating from c.1550-1650. The fitting is rectangular in shape with rounded ends, at one end it curves round to a hook. The end of the hook is worn and broken. On the reverse of the hook is a raised casting seem. There is possible diagonal incised lines decorating the hook, but it is very worn. At the opposite end is a circular rivet hole, the rivet is now missing. The strap fitting has a dark green patina, and measures 30.3mm in length, 7.2mm in width, and weighs 1.55g.

The fastener is S-shaped with a wide middle section that tapers towards the head at one end and the pointed tail at the other. The head has two circular eyes, arched brows and a straight mouth. The body is decorated with repeating scales from neck to tail. The patina is light brown. The object measures 40.3mm in length, 20.1mm in width and is a maximum of 5mm thick. A Medieval cast copper-alloy strap loop dating c. AD 1270-1350. The strap loop consists of a sub-square frame that is square in cross-section. The surfaces of the frame are flat and undecorated. An angled oval-sectioned integral rivet projects from one edge. The shaft is incomplete with an old worn break. The surfaces all have a mid-grey patina. The strap loop measures 17.4mm long, 14.1mm wide and a maximum of 3mm thick. It weighs 1.44 grams. See Egan and Pritchard 1991, p. 232, fig. 147, no. 1239 for a parallel.
