An incomplete Roman cast copper-alloy harness fitting dating to the period AD 43-120. The fitting co prises part of the rectangular loop with a rectangular-sectioned frame. Integral to the surviving long edge is a pelta-shaped plate with a short curved arm missing hte tip. The opposite arm is missing. The centre of the plate extends slightly to a transverse break. The surfaces are very worn. The patina is light green. The harness fitting measires 14.8mm long, 16.4mm wide, 2.4mm thick and weighs 1.40 grams. A Roman case copper-alloy mount, harness fitting or vessel attachment. It consists of an arched rectangular shaped and sectiond bar broken at each end. On the inside edge of the surface are two concentric grooves. Extending from the mid point of the same edge is an integral pelat-shaped plate that is D-shaped in cross-section and has a hollow interiror. The patina across the object is dark grey in colour. The object measures 33.3mm long, 24.9mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 5.12 grams.

The base of a ceramic vessel, possibly a crucible of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The base is circular, broken on one edge and tapers slightly before expanding into the shallow wall. The wall varies in height but enough survives around the hollowed interior. Within the hollow ares everal concentric grooves. The fabric is hard and slightly sandy with inclusions including sparce <1mm angular black sand and mica. Patches of a dark brown slip survives on the external surfaces and within the hollow interior. A rim and wall sherd from a cast copper-alloy tool or vessel, probably of the Bronze Age (c. 1500-800 BC). The rim is crescentric and flat. Below is a portion of wall with three uneven breaks. There is no decoration on the interior or exterior surfaces. The patina is dark green in colour, including on the break. The fragment is very worn and pitted. The fragment measures 32.5mm long, 14.8mm wide, 2.6mm thick and weighs 7.21 grams.

A sherd from a Roman ceramic Samian ware vessel dating c. AD 43-260. The sherd comprises a fragment from the wall of a vessel. The sherd is trapezoidal with four broken edges, an undecorated plain interior and an abraded outer face. The fabric is fine and pale orange in colour with a glossy orange-red slip on both the inside and patches on the outer surface. The fragment measures 26.8mm long, 22.7mm wide, 7.3mm thick and weighs 5.36 grams.

A Post Medieval cast copper-alloy end cap from a scale tang knife dating c. 1500-1600. The end cap consists of a double (addorsed) horse hoof terminal with the hoofs curving away from each other. Each hoof is sub-oval in cross-section with a short projection on the outer edge. Where the hoofs conversge is a sgort groove. The outer sides curve inwardly to the base. The long edges are bevelled and taper to a short edge. The front face is plain. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The patina across the object, including the break, is light green with patchy areas of dark green. The object measures 35.7mm long, a maximum of 28.1mm wide, a minimum of 17.5mm wide, 5.6mm thick and weighs 25.60 grams.

A late Medieval to early Post Medieval cast copper-alloy sword or dagger scabbard chape. The chape, cast in one piece, is 'V-shape' and hollowed, with raised edges and open at the back. The plate has a central ridge with rectangular and aperture and circular aperture above either side. The upper edge is scalloped. Between these is a sub-triangular projection. At the opposite end the terminal consists of a rounded knop.  The chape measures 49.1mm long, 20mm wide, 6mm thick an weighs 7.21 grams. For parallels on the PAS see IOW-DC61A8 and BH-757F02.

The fragment is rectangular in shape and cross-section, and comprises part of the band and the terminal. An incomplete cast copper-alloy belt mount or stud, probably of Post Medieval date. The domed head is twelve-foil culminating at a plain apex. The reverse is hollow with a central boss, into which is the base of a rectangular-sectioned iron shaft. The patina is dark green in colour. The mount measures 25.2mm in diameter, 4.7mm high and weighs 7.06 grams. Similar studs are sometimes attributed to the Roman period but the domed bade and iron fitting on the reverse suggests a Post Medieval date, probably the sixteenth century.

An incomplete Early Medieval cast copper-alloy pin dating AD 700-850. The head is sub-spherical with a saltire at the apex. Radiating from this are swirled grooves extending to the base. There is a ring-shaped collar dividing the head from the rest of the integral circular-sectioned shaft. The shaft tapers to a worn point. The pin measures 18.3mm long. The head is 8.7mm diameter and the pin 2.1mm diameter. The entire object weighs 2.96 grams. An incomplete Early Medieval cast copper-alloy polyhedral pin dating AD 700-900. The head is sub-cuboid with 11 angled facets, each with a moulded ring-and-dot motif. Extending from the base is the surviving circular-sectioned shaft with a transverse collar that extends to a broken point.  The pin is 17.1mm long. The head is 8.3mm diameter and the pin a maximum of 3.6mm diameter. The entire object weighs 2.25 grams. Similar polyhedral pins recorded on the PAS include NARC-685D0C, LANCUM-6B7592 and SUR-646CF1.

A lead alloy or pewter finial from a Post Medieval tobacco jar lid dating c. AD 1650-1800. The finial is octofoil with convex petals around a central boss with a beaded border. This is mounted on a circular-sectioned waisted stalk with riveted base. The object measures 20.2mm long, 23.8mm diameter and weighs 19.40 grams.
