An incomplete Roman cast copper-alloy harness fitting dating to the period AD 43-120. The fitting co prises part of the rectangular loop with a rectangular-sectioned frame. Integral to the surviving long edge is a pelta-shaped plate with a short curved arm missing hte tip. The opposite arm is missing. The centre of the plate extends slightly to a transverse break. The surfaces are very worn. The patina is light green.
The harness fitting measires 14.8mm long, 16.4mm wide, 2.4mm thick and weighs 1.40 grams.

A Roman case copper-alloy mount, harness fitting or vessel attachment. It consists of an arched rectangular shaped and sectiond bar broken at each end. On the inside edge of the surface are two concentric grooves. Extending from the mid point of the same edge is an integral pelat-shaped plate that is D-shaped in cross-section and has a hollow interiror. The patina across the object is dark grey in colour.
The object measures 33.3mm long, 24.9mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 5.12 grams.

The base of a ceramic vessel, possibly a crucible of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The base is circular, broken on one edge and tapers slightly before expanding into the shallow wall. The wall varies in height but enough survives around the hollowed interior. Within the hollow ares everal concentric grooves. The fabric is hard and slightly sandy with inclusions including sparce <1mm angular black sand and mica. Patches of a dark brown slip survives on the external surfaces and within the hollow interior.

A rim and wall sherd from a cast copper-alloy tool or vessel, probably of the Bronze Age (c. 1500-800 BC). The rim is crescentric and flat. Below is a portion of wall with three uneven breaks. There is no decoration on the interior or exterior surfaces. The patina is dark green in colour, including on the break. The fragment is very worn and pitted.
The fragment measures 32.5mm long, 14.8mm wide, 2.6mm thick and weighs 7.21 grams.

A sherd from a Roman ceramic Samian ware vessel dating c. AD 43-260. The sherd comprises a fragment from the wall of a vessel. The sherd is trapezoidal with four broken edges, an undecorated plain interior and an abraded outer face. The fabric is fine and pale orange in colour with a glossy orange-red slip on both the inside and patches on the outer surface.
The fragment measures 26.8mm long, 22.7mm wide, 7.3mm thick and weighs 5.36 grams.

A Post Medieval cast copper-alloy end cap from a scale tang knife dating c. 1500-1600. The end cap consists of a double (addorsed) horse hoof terminal with the hoofs curving away from each other. Each hoof is sub-oval in cross-section with a short projection on the outer edge. Where the hoofs conversge is a sgort groove. The outer sides curve inwardly to the base. The base has a slot filled with corroded rectangualr-sectioned iron blade.
