A complete copper-alloy enamelled button and loop fastener of Roman date, c.AD 43-200. Wild Class VIa variant. The head is formed of a flat rectangular plate. Decoration on this plate consists of red and yellow enamel, set within three parallel square cells with yellow enamel set in the middle cell and red enamel present in the two flanking cells. A complete copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100. Lewis Type 2; Simple Terret. The terret ring comprises an ovate-sectioned basal strap bar flanked by semi-circular moulded collars. A D-sectioned loop extends to either side of the collars, tapering in diameter to the point opposite the strap bar. The bracelet comprises twenty-one (21) complete conjoined pointed ovate knobs with transverse double banded ridges at the juncture between each knob.
