A complete copper-alloy Anglo-gallic or French ecu au soleil coin weight of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1475 - 1650. The coin weight is hexagonal and uniface. It is decorated on one surface with a crowned shield containing three lis and a sun in place of the central lis of the crown. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a brown patina and is fairly worn. The coin weight is 13.67mm in length, 14.89mm in width, 2.69mm in thickness and weighs 2.83g. A complete lead-alloy button of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500-1625. Read 2005, p.70. no.250. The button has a circular head with a gently convexed front with a pellet in the centre. The front is decorated with irregularly spaced grooves radiating from the pellet to the edge. The reverse of the head is flat and an integral elongated oval loop projects centrally from it, set on a casting line.
