A complete though damaged silver finger ring of modern date, c.AD 1800 – 1950. The finger ring comprises a circular hoop with sides which expand smoothly to a rectangular bezel. The hoop is D-shaped in section, the bezel has a thin rectangular section. The bezel is incised with the initials FWD. The W is slightly smaller than the other letters and overlays the back of the D. An incomplete machine-made silver thimble of modern date, c.AD 1850 – 1950. The thimble is flattened and folded with the dome lost to old worn breaks. The upper half of the thimble is decorated with regular tessellating hexagonal pits. The lower half displays foliate decoration formed of stippling and machine pressed grooves. A corroded iron object of uncertain date, function and completeness. Probably modern, c. AD 1800 onwards. The object is large and oval with a large hole in the centre. The width of the hoop varies. The width and shape of the hole also varies with one side circular and the other oval. The object has covering rusty colour corrosion. The ring is 84.89mm in diameter and has a central hole of 29.58mm diameter.  It is 33.86mm thick and weighs 555g. The object is likely be modern but its use is uncertain and it is undiagnostic.

A complete copper-alloy crushed thimble of modern date, c.AD 1850-1950. This thimble is conical in shape with a thickened flaring rim, sloping sides and a slightly domed crown. An incomplete copper-alloy button of modern date, c.AD 1900 – 2000. The button is circular with a slightly concaved reverse which displays a raised rim and a central scar where the attachment shank would have been. The front bears a laurate bust of Nero facing left with the circumferential legend IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TP PPP. This copies a dupondii coin of Nero such as RIC 519. An incomplete unidentified copper alloy object of uncertain date, likely modern (c. 1900-1950). The object is composed of twisted copper alloy. Two wires appear to run through the middle. There are also two flat sections of copper alloy: one in the middle and one at one end, through which the two small wires project. At the other end is a blunt break. Based on the patina and the appearance of the projecting wires, this object appears modern.  A similar object containing projecting wires was also recorded as modern: NLM-1E2396.

The seal is circular in plan with a rectangular cross section and is comprised of a single disc of metal. There are two holes sideways through the disc. Lead alloy tap. Cast round section tubular spout with an inlet diameter of 3.1mm. A central moulded cylindrical block appears to be for a small inserted tap whose handle is lost but whose shaft and expanded rounded end may remain in place; there is a collar round its top. Beyond the block, an outfall for the spot is again collared, and here forms an oval aperture of length 4.3mm. This resembles gas supply fittings for the hearth. A complete cast copper-alloy toggle of post-medieval to modern date (AD1700-1800) The toggle consists of a pointed oval body with a bi-concave sectioned shank extending from one side and terminating in a figure of eight loop. The toggle is undecorated. The metal has a dark reddish-brown patina and is worn. The toggle is 25.mm long, 18.8mm wide, 7.1mm thick and weighs 6.25g. A complete copper alloy button of Modern period (AD 1902-1952). The object is a hollow, three piece composite button, with a domed face and flat reverse. The obverse bears the British Royal Coat of Arms with the King's Crown above.The button has been compressed slightly in the area of the coat of arms. The reverse has a depression in the centre with two perforations which hold the attachment loop. This is encircled by the maker's mark - Smith & Wright. A cast white metal sheet button. The front face shows a fouled anchor while the reverse has no visible markings. This form of button was worn by the Kriegsmarine during the Second World War. The Kriegsmarine was the navy of Nazi Germany from 1935 - 1945. The button was found on the site of a former World War II Prisoner of War Camp. It is reported that crew members of captured German U-Boats were held on the camp. A similar object is recorded at HESH-4DE54A. Diameter: 21.0mm, Thickness: 3.7mm. Weight: 1.2gm.

A belt guide of modern date, 1938 - 1945, off a military uniform. The object was found on a site of a former Prisoner of War camp. It is probably from a British Army uniform associated with a prison guard. The object is made out of a single strand (3.3 mm in diameter) of copper alloy wire, which is doubled, twisted, with two eyelets formed at the top. The fitment is sewn onto the uniform using the two eyelets, and is used to retain the position of the tunic belt. Length: 39.1mm, width: 20.6mm, thickness: 3.3mm. Weight 13.6gm.
