A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy anthropomorphic knife terminal. A knife stop or end-cap from a scale-tang knife. The figurative three dimensional end-cap is an anthropomorphic head on an oval cross-section plinth. The head is wearing a large pointed hood, suggestive of a cowl or hooded cloak worn by monks.  The long, thin face with pointed chin is looking up at an angle of approximately 45 degrees and has crudely engraved facial features. A particularly fine near complete flint leaf shaped arrowhead dating to the Neolithic c.4000-2400 cal BC. The arrowhead is made from a tertiary flake of dark grey flint that has occasional light grey patch inclusions. It has a semi glossy patina. The flake has a triangular cross section, with short sub-parallel low angle retouch along both sides of the flake. There is a high bulb of percussion and ripple marks along the length of the flake. Cast copper-alloy single-loop pointed buckle with integral forked spacer plate. Medieval in date, c. 1350 - 1450. The frame is oval in shape and curves to a point on the outer edge where the (missing) pin would rest. There is also a slight taper on the front face from the inside edge of the loop down to the point around the whole circumference of the loop except where the spacer legs are attached. An iron key (locking) of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The key has a 'D' shaped' bow at the end of the circular cross-sectioned stem. There is a circular collar just behind the bit nearest the bow. The bit would have comprised two irregular projections, but the furthest one from the bow is broken away at the shaft. Type 8 of the Goodall Classification used at Winchester and Salisbury (Salisbury Medieval Catalogue Volume 4), having a solid shaft projecting beyond the bit.
