An incomplete Roman Colchester derivative brooch of Polden Hill (Mackreth Group 4, flat wing ends type), dating to AD 80-120.  The brooch is T-shaped in plan. The wings are semi circular with missing end caps. The foot and catch plate are missing along with the spring and pin.  The wings are semi circular in profile. There is a rectangular groove at the reverse of the head where the spring mechanism would have been in situ. At the rear of the head are the remains of the rearward facing hook. An incomplete copper alloy Colchester derivative brooch of Roman date (AD 43-200). Only the head and upper bow remains. The wings, spring, pin, majority of the bow, foot and catch plate are missing. The bow head is slightly angular (comma shaped). Only a short section of the upper bow remains. A lead alloy token of later Medieval to Post-Medieval date, circa (AD 1400-1800). The token is circular in plan. On the upper face is an equal armed cross in light relief with a central pellet and a pellet in each quarter, imitating a Medieval penny (Powell type 14b). A copper alloy Medieval to Post-Medieval die, dating to AD 1200 - 1750. The die is of the standard format with the opposing faces adding up to seven (six and one, four and three, two and five). The object has a green coloured patina across all surfaces. The die has suffered some damage at the edges and most notably on one corner damaging the face depciting the six. A near complete late Iron Age/Early Roman copper-alloy crescent type "Aesica" brooch of first century AD date, possibly dating to circa AD 25-100. The brooch comprises an upper curved bow and a lower flat bow. The spring mechanism is similar to the Polden Hill brooches (Aesica, type 3) in that the springs are contained within cylindrical wings which are pierced by a central axis bar. An incomplete copper alloy cosmetic mortar, dating to Late Iron Age to the Early Roman dating (1st to 2nd Centuries AD). The mortar is formed from a curved piece of copper alloy. The mortar has a U shaped cross section. It has an incomplete suspension loop situated on the upper edge on the opposing side to the groove.
