A complete, cast copper-alloy, double looped sub-oval buckle of probable later Medieval - Post Medieval date circa (AD 1350-1650). The buckle frame is sub-oval in plan with rounded edges. The buckle consists of two sub oval loops with an integrally cast strap bar that is slightly recessed from the edge of the frame. Each loop is similar in size and slightly bevelled on the inside. The strap bar is narrowed and on both outer frames there is a centrally located incision which acts as a pin rest. The pin is formed from a single sheet of copper alloy that tapers to a broken point. A complete, cast copper alloy, double-loop annular buckle. The buckle dates to the Late Medieval to Post Medieval period circa (AD1350-1650). The frame is sub circular in plan with a narrowed central bar that has been broken. The break has a well-developed patina. The inside edge of both loops of the frame have been bevelled. An incomplete cast copper alloy, double looped 'spectacle' buckle dating to the Medieval period, circa AD1350-1650. The frame is worn but complete, but the pin is missing. The frame has a flat back and a concave front creating a D-shaped cross section. The front of the buckle has a small moulded knop decoration at either end of the central bar. The front of the buckle is otherwise undecorated although the surface is heavily abraded. A cast copper-alloy frame from a post-medieval double looped buckle with a separate spindle. The spindle and pin are now missing. The buckle is rounded on the front and has a flat reverse. There is moulded collared decoration at either end of where the spindle once was. The buckle frame measures 24.84 mm long, 18.26 mm wide, 3.4 mm thick and weighs 2.1 grams. It dates from the mid 16th to 18th century.
