It is an early Anglo-Saxon Envision Type A knife, dating to the period c.AD450-650. Its relatively small size suggests it was used in textile manufacture. A corroded Post Medieval-Modern iron single loop trapezoidal buckle, c.AD 1750-1970. This buckle is complete and consists of a trapezoidal frame and an iron pin which has a raised ridge near the frame. This ridge or 'grip' was probably to allow more pressure to be applied to the pin when undoing or doing up the buckle. The strap (and pin) bar is the longer of the two unequal edges. The shorter edge retains a sheet iron roller.

An incomplete lock escutcheon from a piece of furniture, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, but with a flat cross section. Iron corrosion products do obscure the surface. The lock escutcheon has a pelta shape above with a sunburst stamp on a it. The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, with a semi-circular top with a squared lys terminal at the base. It measures 46.4 mm in length, 49. 8 mm wide and 10.3 mm thick. It weighs 31.9 g.

An incomplete Post Medieval iron double-looped buckle, c.AD 1500-1650. This is half of a double-looped buckle; the frame is flat and has bevelled edges, with a thicker section where the spindle would have been drilled. The strap bar and pin are missing, along with the other half of the frame. The obverse of the frame appears to have a series of moulded, circular decorations, but wear and corrosion has made these unclear. The buckle has a mid-brown patina.

A very corroded, incomplete, iron Roman brooch dating to c. AD 1st-2nd centuries. Probably Polden Hill type, although any detail of the bow or head is now obscured by the corrosion layer. The brooch is missing its pin, spring and catchplace, and only a small section of the bow survives.  The brooch is 18.21mm long, 16..27mm wide, 5.02mm thick and weighs 3.95 grams.

The rectangular frame is undecorated with rounded corners and is drilled to accommodate the separate spindle. Attached to the spindle is a pitchfork tongue and the stubs of the base of a loop chape. This is a cast sub-rectangular frame of round section with a nick on its outer edge serving as a pin rest and with a slightly wavy profile with the strap bar set back from the frame. Rust stains on the strap bar and pin rest may suggest this was deposited with an iron pin attached, now lost. The robust construction may suggest use with horse or bridle harness.

A probable iron horseshoe. The toe and one branch survive. Although it may be a result of corrosion the outside edge of the shoe appears to be wavy edged. One side of the shoe is flat, the other slightly curved.
