A small incomplete salt-glazed stoneware vessel, with a flat pedestal base of 36.8mm diameter and one remaining side which rises to a simple rim decorated with a circuit of brown dots. On opposite sides of the vessel are the bases of small handles, now mostly lost. Possibly an eggcup and circa 16th to 17th century.

An incomplete ceramic object, possibly a loom weight for a warp weighted loom of uncertain date, probably Roman to Medieval, c.AD 43 - 1300.  The weight has a dark orange fabric with large white, possibly calcite inclusions. An incomplete moulded clay tobacco pipe, of Post Medieval date, about AD 1600 - 1680. It is a bowl fragment which has a heel. It has been moulded from a white clay imported from the South West UK. The rim is cut and a band of moulded milling which extends over half of the way round. The surface has only been partially burnished leaving a textured, orange peel like surface. A handle sherd dating to the medieval period, likely part of a cooking pot. The sherd is a short handle in its entirety that has broken at the point where it would have met the body of the vessel, the surface roughly textured and largely abraded. The sherd can be identified as a handle by its shape and a thumb-shaped indentation on the upper surface, which indicates how it would have been held. An incomplete tobacco pipe, dating from the second half of the 19th century AD, moulded into the form of a Turk's head, with drooping moustache and a cylindrical Ottoman style hat. The neck is sharply angled to emerge from moulded leaves and a rounded collar at the socket (19.2mm diameter) connecting to a separate stem, which has been lost. The bowl is incomplete but was around 29mm in diameter.

A Roman Nene Valley Colour Coated Ware (NVCCP) pedestal base from a beaker dating to the mid 2nd to 4th century AD. The fabric is hard fired and reduced pale grey with abundant very fine sand inclusions. The exterior has a barbotine slip decoration with a band of dashed lines with foliate tendrils above. Both inner and exterior surfaces have a dark brown slip. The interior surface is otherwise undecorated but has regular striations from the wheel turning process and the base, which is 28.4mm in diameter, has wire marks from removal from a wheel.

The base of a ceramic vessel, possibly a crucible of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The base is circular, broken on one edge and tapers slightly before expanding into the shallow wall. The wall varies in height but enough survives around the hollowed interior. Within the hollow ares everal concentric grooves. A bowl from a moulded clay tobacco pipe, of later 17th century date. The bowl has convex sides, a bottered rim, 11.2mm in internal diameter and is undecorated. There is a large flat heel carrying the maker's mark of WO within a heart shaped escutcheon with three small stars, two above and one below the letters (second image). This mark is associated with William Oram of Winchester, c. 1680.
