A cast copper-alloy and enamel Medieval heraldic harness pendant probably dating c.AD 1298 to AD 1400. The pendant is a 'heater' shield-shape with a flat top and curved sides forming a pointed base. It has a suspension loop protruding 7.52mm from the centre of the upper edge, at right angles to the face of the pendant. The face of the pendant is decorated at the top for approximately one third of its length down to 14.50mm with a field of blue enamel with heraldic two six-pointed stars with central indented circles with red enamel centres. A complete Medieval copper alloy annular brooch dating to c. 1350-1400. The brooch is circular in plan and in cross-section with a complete pin attached. The pin is attached around the frame at one end and tapers to a rounded point at the other. It is 34.5mm in length and has a square cross-section. The pin is corroded with pitting and has a square collar at the attachment end. The brooch is plain and undecorated and has a dark green patina. A cast and engraved incomplete Medieval lead pointed oval seal matrix. c.1200-1300 Description: The matrix is pointed oval in plan. The device of the seal consists of two distinct shapes, the bottom is an eight pointed star with alternating short and long rays and an upper trident. A fragment of a Post Medieval copper alloy belt fitting or mount, possibly from a sword belt and circa 16th-17th century. The plate is flat with moulded and incised foliate decoration. A cast copper alloy post medieval clock winding key dating to c. 1600-1750. The object is L-shaped in plan, with a flattened rectilinear horizontal bar attached to a rounded pentagonal vertical bar. The horizontal bar terminates with a lozenge shaped aperture. It is now covered in a green patina. It is too large to be a watch winder, but has the familiar angled shape, so was probably used for a medium sized clock. The patina is suggestive of a post medieval date. Measurements: 69.6mm length 69.9mm width, 5.6mm thickness, weight 70.7g.
