An incomplete probably Roman handle escutcheon, probably from a bucket. It is triangular in plan with a faceted front face and a concave back face, there is an incomplete integral loop projecting from the centre of the wider top edge. The handle for the bucket was presumably attached through this loop. It measures 66.79mm in surviving length and 39.78mm in width.

A complete cast copper-alloy decorative pouring spout in the shape of a dogs head, in very good condition. This spout measures 64.1mm in length and 15.85mm in width. The dog is holding a barrel in its mouth with a hole through this (7.3mm diameter), through which liquid would have been poured. The dog has a short upturned nose and a heavy brow, its ears are large and reactangular and project above the sides of the head. There is a central longitudinal ridge running down the top of its head. The neck of the dog is curvilinear, tapering and open to allow liquid to be poured. The spout we…

A possibly Roman cast copper-alloy bust which may have possibly functioned as a vessel mount. It consists of the head and upper body and it is uncertain if the individual depicted is male or female, but on balance appears more male in form. The large oval shaped head has hair depicted by wavy mouldings, the eyes, nose and mouth are also depicted by mouldings, now worn.
Below the head is the neck, shoulders and breast. There is a V-shaped moulding of clothing covering half of the chest and one breast is bare. The head has a relatively flat back face and the shoulders and brea…

Fragment of cast copper alloy handle terminal of Romano-British patera or skillet, the sides and one end are broken, the incomplete end is broken across the centre of the circular terminal and suspension hole. There is a border groove around the edge of the terminal and another groove around the central suspension hole, on the front face. The form of this handle terminal is very similar to a more complete example with a makers stamp found in Norfolk, see NMS-7F1BE6. It measures 22.47mm in surviving length and 31.30mm in width.

Fragment from a copper alloy and enamelled circular escutcheon or mount from an Anglo-Saxon hanging bowl of 7th century AD date.
