A rim shard, with mend, from a copper alloy Medieval or Post-Medieval vessel. Given its small size it is difficult to suggest what kind of vessel the shard originated from and therefore it is difficult to date more precisely than this. The shard consists of a small narrow portion of the rim of a vessel. Along the inside edge of the rim is a slightly raised ridge. A small hole just below the rim holds the remains of a rivet, which was apparently used to mend this small break. The shard is very small making it difficult to measure the original circumference of the vessel. The metal is da…

Post medieval cast copper alloy foot from a cooking vessel. It is roughly D-shaped in section, with flattened reverse and three ribs running down the convex front. The foot has a rounded base and is separated from the leg by a prominent rounded collar on the front. It has broken just above the collar with an old break. It measures 30.8mm in length, 24.9mm in width, 13.1mm in thickness and weighs 38g.
