A warped and mostly remelted object likely partially recycled, uncertain date. Description: The object consists of a less melted crescentric rim like top section which is folded over on itself on the left side. It is uncertain whether this is intentional or an accidental feature fo the casting/melting process. The lower section is an irregularly shaped warp/runoff section. It is heavily paitnated an off green colour. Measurements: 60.38mm long, 41.17mm high, 36.72mm thikc and 87.8g in weight.

A cast copper alloy sword pommel cap of early medieval date, probably Viking era. Description: The pommel consists of 5 wide splayed lobes, the central lobe of which being the largest and highest. The lobes diminish in size towards the outside edge, the inner three are hollow. The recesses at each end relate to the two-part pommel construction and are now filled with iron corrosion. An incomplete early post-medieval (1500-1700) copper-alloy dress hook of Read Class A, Type 2 (with three attachment knops), eye section. The loop is damaged and incomplete. The plate is flat and 1.6mm thick with grooved decoration. It depicts a central expanding stem, and has a spray of three flowers surrounded by ring-and-dot decoration flanking the outside worn edge. Much of the original patina is missing but where it remains it is grey-ish in colour. The object measures 35.7mm in length, 26.3mm wide and weighs 4.08g.

An incomplete copper alloy enamelled disc brooch of Roman date (AD 80 - 250), missing the curl of the catchplate, part of the spring mechanism and the pin to the reverse. The edge of the brooch is damaged (mostly old). The brooch is flat (2.2mm thick) and circular and decorated with a six-pointed star around a single copper alloy pellet. At each star point is a copper alloy pellet. The area between the star and the outside edge carries blue enamel while the area inside the star carries red enamel. It is likely the brooch originally had silvering or tinning on the copper alloy areas. …
