The belt mount is complete and is of bar-mount form and has two smaller terminal lobes, flanking a central lobe (with a length of 23.9mm and a weight of 1.9g). Medieval copper alloy three piece strap-end with forked spacer, this form of strap-end is known to have been produced from the late 13th to the early 15th century (Egan 1991), but most occur in 14th century contexts. The strap-end is composed of two tongue shaped copper alloy sheet plates with a rounded outside edge, divided by a cast forked spacer with a terminal knop. The terminal has a collar and resembles an acorn. The strap-end was secured by two rivets positioned near the attachment edge. No decoration is evident on the surface of the plates.
