An incomplete cast copper alloy, single loop buckle cast with an integral plate, dating from the medieval period c. AD 1250 - 1400. Only the plate remains as the frame of the buckle is lost due to old damage. In form the buckle is very small and would originally have had an oval frame. The plate is broadly rectangular in plan and D shaped in cross ection. It is decorated with a series of three bosses seperated by double transverse ribs. An uncertain object of uncertain date - most probably made in the medieval or post medieval period (1200-1800). In form the artefact is similar to a thimble being a domed sheet of lead which has subsequently been crushed in the soil. The artefact is crudely decorated with a series of opposing triangular cut out shapes positioned irregular around the lower edge. A lead or lead alloy medieval token dating to c. 1400 - c. 1500. The obverse depicts a cross with a pellet in each angle (Powell Type 14), probably influenced by the reverse design of a medieval penny. The reverse is undecorated. It has been slightly bent out of shape. There are traces of four casting sprues near the end of each cross arm. Overall, the token measures 15.4mm in diameter and 2.4mm thick. It weighs 1.62g.

The cast dirk is complete but now distorted across the mid blade (with a distorted length of 282mm, a straightened length of approximately 288mm and a weight of 94.4g). The butt is flat-topped, slightly angled (23.0mm wide and 1.8mm thick). There are two rivet notches beneath the butt and on the sides (of 8.5mm diameter, with their midpoints 9.6mm beneath the butt and giving a minimum butt width of 17.5mm). A fragment of North Devon Gravel-tempered ware. The fragment includes part of the base of a bread platter. The fabric is oxidised on the exterior of the vessel and reduced to its interior. The coarse components include rounded/sub-rounded quartz inclusions (1mm-4mm), sandstone inclusions (up to 4.5mm) and inclusion of tiny (max 1mm) ceramic pellets. The interior of the vessel is glazed, green in colour with the exterior being unglazed.

The foot is a tapering rectangular shape in plan and D shaped in cross section. Lead alloy uniface token of post medieval date. The upper face of the token is decorated eight raised ribs which expand from the mid-point of the token forming an irregular overlapping cross and saltire shape. Between some of the ribs are single pellets. The reverse is plain and undecorated although it does has a slight circumferential ridge. The metal is a mid cream grey colour with a well formed surface patina.

The head is turned back to form a loop whilst the tail is open forming the hook. A fragment of a copper alloy spoon. The spoon bowl is fig-shaped, and crescentic in profile. Projecting from the upper edge of the bowl is a remnant of the faceted, hexagonal sectioned stem which ends in a v shaped point where it joins the back of the bowl.. There is an indistinct maker's mark set slightly to the left on the upper part of the bowl.
